Quiet week for Barking Roadrunners this week race wise, but once again there was a good number of members and guests at Tuesday’s track night, which was a pyramid session led by Alison, who has now passed the England Athletics Coaching in Running Fitness (CIRF) course to become a higher qualified instructor. Well done Alison.

The usual crew were at Jo Richardson school, Castle Green, for the Thursday night run doing the Becontree Avenue loop this week.

Another well attended Sunday run at Hainault, with longer runs getting more popular now as the runners start preparing for the various spring marathons.

Natalie Traylen competed in the Lee Valley Velo park half marathon on Saturday finishing in a chip time of time 2:09:18 whilst Alison Fryatt was back at Hadleigh on Sunday this time for the Legacy 10k finishing in a chip time of 1:26:36.
