Barking Road Runners were formed in 1984 and are affiliated to both the South of England Athletics Association and the Essex Athletic Association We are a small, friendly club with around 80 members ranging from sub 3hr marathoners to the more leisurely Sunday morning joggers. The club meets every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 18:45 at the Jo Richardson Centre (also known as Castle Green Sports Centre), Gale Street, Dagenham, Essex, RM9 4UN for group training sessions of varying pace and distance.

You will be more than welcome to participate in our Cross Country, Handicap and Grand Prix series of races, as well as the numerous social events held throughout the year. As a club affiliated to both SEAA and UK Athletics, we have guaranteed London Marathon places each year. The club welcomes all members regardless of race, religion, creed or sex.
